How we rank clubsand what Sponsored means

Search results on CourtPass are ordered by how good, bookable and active a club is β€” not by who pays. Clubs can pay to be shown higher in some places, and every one of those placements is labelled Sponsored.

What decides the Recommended order

Every claimed club gets a score from six signals. The weights below are the ones we use.

  • Quality

    30%

Verified reviews from completed bookings, how complete and accurate the listing is, and the club's track record.

  • Bookability

    25%

Can you actually book here? Online payments, published prices, courts and opening hours.

  • Popularity

    15%

How many players booked the club recently, compared with other clubs in the same country.

  • Profile

    10%

Photos, a useful description, amenities, hours and a logo.

  • Responsiveness

    10%

How rarely the club declines booking requests (instant-confirm clubs score full marks).

  • Freshness

    10%

New clubs get a short welcome boost; otherwise, recent bookings keep a club fresh.

Clubs you can't book online yet count at half their score.

Closer clubs come first

When you search near a place, a club's score is reduced the further away it is, so a nearby good club usually beats a far-away great one.

You choose the order

Recommended is the default. Switch to price, rating or distance at any time β€” those orders never include paid boosts.

Recommended
The score above, adjusted for distance. The only order where sponsored boosts apply.
Price
Lowest price first for what you searched for.
Rating
Highest verified rating first, then the number of reviews.
Distance
Nearest first.

Ads are separate

Banners and native ads from advertisers are marked as ads. They never change how clubs are ranked.

Clubs not on CourtPass yet

Some listings come from public information so you can see every place to play. They can't be booked here and are ranked on their public rating, below comparable bookable clubs.

Reviews you can trust

Only players who completed a booking can leave a review, and clubs can't remove the ones they don't like.
